Paris Half Marathon 2009 · 30 January 2009

Every 2 hours, someone in the UK sustains a spinal cord injury. Their world – and that of their family – is turned upside-down. SIA aim to reach everyone affected by spinal cord injury, to connect them to all the help and support they need to life a fulfilled life.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. We are running the Paris Half Marathon in aid of the Spinal Injuries Association.

Training through the dark and windy winter nights has been tough but we're hoping that the scenery in Paris will be a distraction which will hopefully take our minds off the distance!

Not going for a record breaking time - and will be happy just to finish - but who knows  - if this goes well perhaps a full marathon is on the cards for later on in the year!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Spinal Injuries Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now, all your donations are very much appreciated!
Thanks!
