I will be walking the 'Camino Portugués' in April/May 2008. The ancient pilgrimage route goes from Portugal to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, with a distance of around 240 kilometres. I hope to do this in around 12/14 days. I was first inspired to do the walk for personal reasons, then I saw this as a perfect opportunity to raise money for the Imagine appeal – the charity of the Alder Hey specialist children’s hospital in Liverpool.
