Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Hi lovely people,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  You may know that Janet, my housemate, has cystic fibrosis.  CF is a chronic genetic disease that affects mostly the lungs and the pancreas.  Basically, our lungs produce a substance that enables us to easily exhale the bad bacteria in the air.  However, Janet's get clogged up with a thick, sticky mucus.

At the moment, there is no cure for CF.  However, one of the main objectives of the CF Trust is to fund work to identify a cure.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cystic Fibrosis Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please dig deep and sponsor me online now!

Many thanks for your support.
