Story

On Saturday June 14th Shannon Logan, Chris Wright and myself, Neil Foreman will attempt to cycle over 200 miles from Cambridge to Durham. This is twice as far as any of us have ridden before. Many people say it can't be done. We aim to prove them wrong. We will, however, be starting at first light!

The route links our two chosen charities, which go towards fighting childhood cancers, a cause all three of us are keen to support.

At the start in Cambridge, Tom's Trust. Donations to Tom's Trust can be made via our second page www.justgiving.com/cycledurham

At the finish in Durham, the North of England Children's Cancer Research Fund. This is in memory of Emma Bell, a beloved and sadly missed family member of Neil's wife Marie. Donations to the NECCR can be made on this page.

About the charity

The aims of NECCR are to raise money for the continuing vital research into the causes and treatment of Childhood Cancer. Objectives are: Find the causes of childhood cancer and to develop new treatments. Increase the number of children cured of cancer. Make treatment less distressing.
