Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 22nd December 2010, I successfully reached Uhuru Peak, the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro- the world's highest freestanding mountain at 19341feet (5895metres) after 6 days trekking and sleeping rough in tents (close to glaciers!!) and descending on the 7th day.
I continue to raise funds for Sightsavers International - in particular for their £1Million "Vision India Appeal ". Around 15 million people in India are blind , of which 7.5 milliion are blind because of a cataract which can be cured by a simple operation costing just £15. Just think, if we could "open their eyes" they would be able to see the smiles of their loved ones.On a personal level , my own family has been affected by problems of partial sightedness, so this is a cause extremely close to my heart.
I funded the whole expedition myself - so every single penny you donate will go to Sightsavers for their wonderful work. So please support me in my endeavour by kindly donating to my chosen charity and give as much as you can.

THANK YOU & GOD BLESS.
