We support the thousands of patients and families at Sheffield Children’s, from across the UK and beyond, by funding the life-changing and the joy-sparking. We make clinical care kinder, and bad days brighter. We bring play, laughter and comfort to places where they’re needed the most.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Recently a colleague of mine and his family suffered a sad loss due to a rare brittle bone condition in children.  Currently the Sheffield Children's hospital is running an appeal for a scanner which can help detect this and similar conditions.  As you may know already Dwight and I have been planning to ride from Lands End to John O'Groats, this event is now being used to raise money for the appeal.

The aim is nine days from bottom to top, that's about 100 miles a day and ranks as one of the silliest things we have ever attempted. Please dig deep as we've going to need a good incentive to settle into the saddle when it comes to days 7, 8 and 9.

Thanks
Justin and Dwight.
