The Macmillan World Championship Coracle Relay Race will take place on Friday 15 June 2012 at 4.30 pm on the River Severn at the Pengwern Boat Club, in Shrewsbury - raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Here at Dyke Yaxley we will be entering two teams, the boys team "Men Behaving Badly" led by Captain Aidy Key together with crew members Andy Young, Matt Childerhouse and Vinny Crean and the girls team "Dyke Yaxley Divas" led by Captain Pam Mason with her crew Sarah Howells, Paula Marshall and Heike Mallinson.  Both teams have quite a lot of experience with 6 team members having taken part in previous years, so we are hoping for good things this year!

The event is open to everyone!  Please come along and join in the fun and help raise money for Macmillan.  It is a great day out with a hog roast, refreshing Pimms, home baked cakes, t-shirts, foam hands as well as entertainment for the little ones throughout the afternoon.
