Story
Do you ever look at the extravagant, oversized box that your Easter Egg arrived in and think it's just a little bit over the top? Have you ever felt guilty about eating the whole thing in one sitting? Do you wish for an alternative?
The Children's Fund is calling on you to do something different this Easter. Instead of buying an Easter Egg for a friend (or yourself!), we are appealing to you to donate the cost of an Egg to our Appeal. In return you can leave an Easter message to your friends, family or loved one for all to see!
There are many advantages to doing this. For instance, a donation is calorie free, so you won't need to go to the gym after the Easter weekend! What's more your kind donation will help us to reach our target of £360,000 to help improve services for critically ill children. We aim to buy state-of-the-art equipment for the Children's Intensive Care Unit and help to re-furbish the Children's A&E.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: we will receive your donation faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. That means that a donation of £1 becomes £1.28!
On behalf of the children who will benefit, many thanks for your support and a very Happy Easter.
