At the same time I am able to use the advanced riding skills that I have gained, thanks to 'the observers', another group of volunteers at Norfolk Advanced Motorcycle Group who do a great job to promote and pass on safe riding skills.

After many hours of wondering how to attract funds for the purchase of our first motorbike, Duncan Edwards and I have put together this formidable challenge of riding just under 1000 miles from Lowestoft in the east, all the way to Lands End in the west, and back in just 24 hours! We hope to have up to a maximum of 20 of us carrying out this epic journey and each of us is hoping to raise at least £500 with an overall target of £10,000.

Santha, my wife, intends to ride as pillion. She is a source of great encouragement when things get tough and it will be fantastic to complete this challenge together, along with my son Oscar who will be riding his Yamaha Thundercat, my step-brother Kevin who will be riding his new baby, Honda CBF1000 and my fellow blood bikers.
