Dear Students, friends and well-wishers,
This Justgiving page is dedicated to raising funds for the Ebrahim College Development Fund. This page serves two purposes:
1. enables you to make your donations online.
2. provides information about this particular fund and an update on fundraising. The fundometer above shows how much donations have been made so far. While the progress of the Qardh hasan will be provided above, which we will manually update from time to time.
SO WHAT’S THE EBRAHIM COLLEGE DEVELOPMENT FUND?
Ebrahim College is aiming to redevelop the current College building into a purpose built 8-storey facility - this will cost c£5m. In order to be able to commence the development work, we have started the first phase of fundraising to relieve the college of all short-term financial obligations. Repaying these will free us up to commence development work. The subsequent phases will focus on purchase of the building and the rebuild project.
Phase 1 Target Amount:
£100k in donations
£300k in Qardh Hasan loans for at least 2 year.
Total: £400k
To turn phase 1 into a reality, we have a simple plan... 1000 people donate just £100, we will meet the £100k donations target. In addition, 300 people lend us £1000 for two years, we will meet the £300k Qardh hasan target. It is that simple, inshaAllah.
