Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. After years of applying I got the shock of my life when I finally got a place in the London Marathon 2009 and realised that I actually needed to do some serious training! And through the hardy British winter!! All going well so far, I did the Bath half marathon on 15th March in 1 hour 45 mins and the Taunton half on 5 April in 1 hour 43 mins (this was quite a hilly route so I expected to take much longer). I've decided to run in aid of The Meath Epilepsy Trust, an amazing charity which provides support and a caring home to 70 adults who have complex epilepsy coupled with other disabling problems. It is also home to my wife's cousin, Phillip, who moved in just over 3 years ago when he was 22. Please sponsor me, it's a very good cause, plus I need all the encouragement I can get!! I'm pleased to say I finished the marathon in 3 hours and 55 minutes. Thanks for all your support. (p.s. this site stays open until the end of July for any further sponsorship)
