The event field above only shows half of the story. (Literally)  On April 6th 2008 I will run the Paris Marathon. On April the 13th, 7 days later, I will run the London Marathon.

I was inspired to set myself this challenge after hearing the plight of a particular young soldier who was badly wounded in Iraq. As I read more I learned about many other ex-servicemen and their families that need support. The British Legion has done sterling work in providing this support whether that be financial or emotional.

Whatever your feelings on current military engagements, the brave individuals who have put their life on the line for the nation deserve our support.
