Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Personally - I don't like running, I prefer food....however when a chance to do something for charity and to get myself back in shape came along I thought I'd best get my head down and get on with the task in hand.
9weeks to go and I'm on crutches with a sprained ankle....throws a spanner in the works for training but hey ho...with Mrs Allen Physio-ing me I'm hopeful of still making the run...I might not be as fot as I'd like but I'll finish.!
4 weeks to go and I've started light jogging again...painfuul but i managed a couple of laps on the aprk...i'm on the hunt for some new running shoes with extra padding and the wife is doing a great job at strapping my ankle for support...I've cmpleted a couple of hikes on holiday too so getting the miles under the belt is back on the cards again....
