Rome - Monte Carlo · 23 February 2009

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

COMPLETED SUN 7TH JUNE 1300hrs 820KM

PLEASE KEEP GIVING. I'M GOING TO SLEEP FOR A WEEK NOW.

Thanks for visiting my Rome to Monte Carlo fundraising page for Leukaemia Research. The ride covered 510 miles.

We started on Sunday 31st of May and completed it on Sunday 7th June at 1300hrs.

So go on, please sponsor me and this fantastic charity and get the "Feel Good" factor. All the pain was mine!  Follow my route of pain: http://tinyurl.com/amokxx

Coming on the trip and driving the support vehicle will be my kid brother Iain, who donated  two stem cell transplants to my late sister Karen Griffiths. This I think is more worthy of support than my bit of fun in the sun, and definitely worth a mention in despatches. Well done Iain!!

As an ex-member of the armed forces, I am also trying to raise £1000 for Help For Heroes, the charity for service personnel badly injured in the line of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.

My H4H web page is www.justgiving.com/eddiegrice

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Click on the link to see the route I am taking.
So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks,   Eddie Grice.
