Story
Having cut our teeth, and broken in our trainers, on the gold paved (and flat) streets of the Royal Parks half marathon last year, on April 25th we're heading up north to compete on the steel lined (and definitely not flat) streets of Sheffield in the cold and rain.
To make things more interesting, and because there is no I in team, we've decided to set a combined target time of 5 hours 28 mins in which to complete the run.
We've chosen to do this for a charity called Children in Crisis, and this is what they do:
Worldwide, one in six children is denied a basic education. At the heart of their work is the belief that education is the best possible route out of poverty, bringing hope for a better future for families, communities and, over time, whole societies. Children in Crisis works in partnership with local organisations to provide educational opportunities for some of the world's most vulnerable children.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
If you would like to make a donation to support CiC we'd be incredibly grateful, and even more motivated to get up early and train.
Thank you very much.
