Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page – the gateway to our daftest challenge yet....

My brother in law (John Nicholson) and I are undertaking our greatest cycling challenge to date, on the 21st - 22nd June this year.

We will be joining 498 other cyclists undertaking a 50 mile charity bike ride around the streets of Edinburgh and surrounding suburbs, departing from Meadowbank Stadium at 11pm.

If we finish we will be delighted, if we finish before breakfast we will be astonished. Our training is well underway, having covered a grand total of 15 miles on a bike in 2014....

We will be raising money for two charities, which are Funding Neuro (my chosen charity which raises funds for all conditions which affect the brain and spinal column) and the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research (John’s chosen charity having recently lost his Uncle to cancer last year).  John has created a separate donation page for his charity (at www.everyclick.com/edinburghnightride).

So please support these two under-trained, overweight and unfit men by sponsoring us!

Many thanks in advance.

Iain & John
