All done! Am hoping for a sub 1:40 time, just waiting for the official results to be published online... more importantly I tried for some photo finish shots so we'll have to wait and see how much of a donut I look this year at the end! thanks again to the sponsors :) still time to donate to get me to the £500 mark though :)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. A few things you or may not know: - I'm an avid amateur runner, I try to get out at least a few times a week whatever the weather (in Plymouth this is wildly varied / raining!) - This will be my third Half Marathon and my second time running at Eden - Eden is a HARD hilly run (remind me why I'm doing this again?!) I thought you'd at least have a laugh at my "flying finish" and "dying / stupid feet" photos - The lives of my fiancée (Claire) and I have been turned a bit upside down recently as a result of epilepsy. Claire’s been fit-free for many years until a couple of weeks ago, when she had a seizure whilst out running in preparation for the Teignbridge Trotters Ladies' 10k race: <a title="Teignbridge Trotters Ladies 10k" href="http://www.teignbridgetrotters.co.uk/ladies_10k">http://www.teignbridgetrotters.co.uk/ladies_10k</a> - On a positive note Claire still entered the race and completed it successfully with a great time :-) - Epilepsy has many forms and whilst some effects are very visible, the impact of taking daily medication and the loss of freedom immediately following a seizure can be traumatic. The result of Claire’s most recent episode was that she has lost her driving licence for at least a year (instantly). We're working through this, but you can imagine how upsetting this has been for her. I’m now a part-time taxi service / chauffeur despite her being able to see her pride and joy sitting on the drive outside and being perfectly capable of driving. I’m selling my car and am going to drive hers for a year. - Epilepsy Action is a great cause and has been invaluable to us following Claire's episode. They do so much to help epilepsy suffers and have a wealth of information available on their website that we really appreciated. <a title="Epilepsy Action" href="http://www.epilepsy.org.uk/">http://www.epilepsy.org.uk/</a> - Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
