I am proud to be associated with the fantastic people at Martin Currie and to have the opportunity to compete in the Rob Roy Challenge to benefit the Martin Currie Charitable Foundation.

This year will be their 11th event and my second.  This year I have upgraded my bike, persuaded Jim Bentall to join me, corralled the entire family to volunteer and, most importantly, plan on following the signage and not going the wrong way this year!

I am delighted that Legg Mason has stepped up with some significant support to the event and hope to raise my own contribution from friends and family and to encourage all my 30 Team Legg Mason partners to do the same.

16 miles of running and 55 miles of cycling - here we come............
