On July 6th I'll be running the Asics London 10K run to raise money for the Heritage of London Trust. No, before you say it, I will not be running with a cat strapped to my back(see photo)! The Heritage of London Trust (HOLT) is a small charity that my wife works for and which I have come to appreciate for the work it does to make London a nicer place to live. HOLT is a fantastic charity that does a great deal to help local community groups to repair and restore their historic buildings. While these buildings are a unique part of our cultural heritage, they also provide local communities with facilities and spaces to use and enjoy - ranging from breakfast clubs for school children to social services for the disabled and elderly. HOLT have given grants to restore everything from a clock in Bow honouring a Jewish suffragette to the iron railings at St Paul's Cathedral. They've helped over 450 projects in every London borough, and when I run through the West End and the City on July 6th I'll pass by dozens of buildings and monuments that HOLT have helped to save. So, please make a donation to my run and help me do my little bit for our wonderful city! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Heritage Of London Trust Limited will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Many thanks for your support.
