8/11/11 : I did it. The total distance run was just over 82 miles. All the money raised only served to spur me on - so thank you all.

Becky....as you know I was doing this to support a friend, and her efforts to raise money for McMillan Cancer Care following the help she has had from them during her pregnancy.

I am happy to report that Becky gave birth to a wonderful little girl recently and both she and the baby are doing very well.
