Lovells Touching the Void III · 11 August 2008

The British Paralympic Association is a registered charity and is responsible for selecting, entering and creating a world class environment for the ParalympicsGB team during the Summer and Winter Games. Your support enables us to give athletes the best possible preparation for the Games.

Story

On 5 September 2008, the day prior to the opening of the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, Lovells is organising its third annual charity abseil off the roof of Atlantic House.  The British Paralympic Association is one of my firm's chosen charities this year.  I do think its proof that I'm becoming increasingly certifiable with age, yet overcoming my own fears and braving the descent from the twelfth floor pales into insignificance compared to the feats of our Paralympians over the following 12 days.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the British Paralympic Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.  If you are a higher rate UK tax payer, please also remember to claim the additional tax refund to which you are entitled through your tax return on the aggregate amount of your donation plus associated Gift Aid.

Many thanks for your support!
