On August 14th 2008, Adam Matchette and  myself are cycling from John a Groats to Lands End in 12 days. Covering 80 miles a day, we are aiming to raise as much money as possible for very worthy causes.  Plans are being finalised and more information surronding the trip will be available soon. I would like to say a big thankyou to my Dad who has agreed to drive a support vehicle during the trip!!! A huge weight off my mind and our bikes!

In June 2006 my elder brother and I lost our beloved mother to alcoholism. I am raising money for Mind, a mental health charity my mother did alot of work for.  Adam lost a dear friend and is rasing money for Noahs Ark, a charity which helps people come to terms with the loss of parents and sibblings.

The trip was originally Adam's brain child, who then went onto get his local press involved, as he was looking for other cyclists for the trip. By coincidence, I was also considering riding the entire length of the UK and luckily found his article on the internet. The rest as they say is history!
