Myself and a team of 5 other people are doing the 3 Peaks Challenge, this comprises of climbing the largest Peak in England, Wales and Scotland all within 24 hours including the driving!
I am doing this in memory of Gareth Rowlands who was 2 years below me at school. Gareth tragically died of Meningitis one evening back in 2003 whilst in his boarding room at school; he was 16 and had so much more to give. The Meningitis Trust has given his family a lot of support and in turn they have also raised huge amounts of money to help continue the trusts work for other families who have or are going through the loss of a loved one.
Please take a read of below as to what we are actually doing and how the Walk will be planned.
Snowdon (Wales - 1085m)
Scafell Pike (England - 978m)
Ben Nevis (Scotland - 1344m)
