Profile: This yearling has reached adolescence and despite his enviable breeding, he has been known to be distracted by the irresistible scent of many a female ferret. Despite living a "George Best-esque" lifestyle, his trainers will testify to the fact that Egg will tear through the tightest of tunnels when he's on the chase. Too bad then that he's a bit lacklustre when he's up against mainstream talent but the potential is there.  An intense training regime has begun to focus his mind considerably in recent weeks and his efforts have been rewarded with two podium finishes in his last five outings.

Race chances: Rising with every race.  A good challenger for those who fancy an outsider.
