This weekend, my partner, John, was out on a photography meeting walking along the bank of the River Ribble with a friend and his young boy. Suddenly John took a tumble and fell down the banking and broke, and dislocated his ankle. His friend, Lee, alerted the emergency services who immediately dispatched the helicopter to transport John to hospital. When they arrived at the scene they performed their duties with the upmost professionalism, ensuring that John was taken for treatment as quickly as possible. John cannot speak highly enough of the team, and I think it's a fitting tribute to the guys that money can be raised to say a huge thank you for everything they did for him.
