Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and helping us to raise money in support of the Kamla Foundation "Rural Water Supply" project.
On Saturday the 22nd of May we will be cycling an 80 mile loop around Somerset in one day.
****Yay! We have reach our target of £1000, so the new target is £1500, please keep sponsoring us***
Our Aim
Our target is to raise £1000 to pay for just one of the 35 hand water pumps being installed by the Kamla Foundation in poverty stricken rural hamlets in India. The provision of safe clean drinking water will help decrease the need for hauling water from open wells and rivers and also helps dramatically reduce the number of cases of water-related diseases. If we can raise enough to pay for just one water pump it would dramatically improve the quality of life experienced by the families living in poverty, but the more we raise the more we can help, so please dig deep.
The Team
So far the team consists of the following people: Steve Bell, James Longly, Tom White, Andy Copley, Sam Spurgeon, Paul Griffin, Reuben White, Liam Oleary, James Beverley, Steve Gunner, Derek Farr, Mark Burgess and James Stibbards! (If you fancy signing up, just let me know)
