Update: Just to let everyone know we completed our challenge on Saturday 27th June (in some interesting weather conditions!) I decided to plant a golf ball with Dad's initials into each cairn as a little rememberance to him. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. The amount raised to date is far more than we dreamed of and we have now exceeded the £1000 mark, which is just fantastic. Thank you all so much again.
Hi everyone
As most of you will know, my Dad sadly passed away last July after a brave fight against cancer. In his memory, Ranald and I would like to raise some funds for Ward 16, the Hospice Ward within Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, in recognition and as a thank you to the dedicated staff for all their expert care and attention my Dad received and for the support provided for all the family at such a difficult time.
As a way to raise these funds, we have decided to climb 4 Munros in a day - The Carn Mairg group in Glen Lyon. Some of you will be aware that we have climbed a few Munros in recent years, but this will be by far our (or certainly my!) biggest challenge to date. Myself, Ranald and Daisy are being joined by Jackie and Millie and if anyone else wants to come along too, they are more than welcome.
We are doing our walk at the end of June and whilst we don't have a target amount to raise, we know that every donation made will help Ward 16 provide the continuing high level of care and support to patients and their families.
With our grateful thanks for your donation.
Eilidh and Ranald
