Story
Thanks for taking the time to do this!
I will be running the London Marathon on 23rd April 2006, partly to fulfill a personal ambition, but mainly to raise money for the British Lung Foundation.
The reason for this being that my Dad suffered Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, but managed to survive on only 25% capacity of one lung for many years, until he passed away a couple of years ago. He is the bravest man I will ever know.
The only positive thing is knowing that he is now with me every minute of every day and will be on my shoulder as I stagger across the finishing line at the end of 26.2 miles... Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Lung Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support.
