The children at Kadzinuni can’t afford a decent school bag; they mostly use old carrier bags or no bag at all. This year we want to send one bag for every child at Kadzinuni Primary School, so that’s 1,000, or a target of £3,000. Some (500) are being bought by schools or other organisations, so our target is for individuals to buy 500.

A £3 sponsorship donation will buy a Friends of Kadzinuni school bag filled with pens, pencils, sharpener and ruler! It will help keep the text books we have bought before in good condition. You can sponsor any number.

If you are an organisation prepared to donate £300 we’ll get 100 bags printed with your organisation logo and/or name. Just donate here and we’ll get in touch with you to fix it!

Providing these school bags for the children at Kadzinuni is about much more than just the bag; we’ll put a message of support and photo from you in each bag which will really let the Kadzinuni children know how much they matter. To me this is what has made such a huge difference at Kadzinuni over the last few years. The people there are now so proud of where they come from and have a deep seated desire to improve their own lives.
