St. Catherine's Hospice provides specialist palliative care for the people of Chorley, Preston, Longridge and South Ribble. Care includes specialist community nurses, day care, in-patient care, family support, lymphoedema, complementary therapies etc.
I'm doing the St Catherines Hospice 3rd Annual, Ladies Only, Moonlight Walk (starting at midnight) on 6th June 2009, in memory of my wonderful partner Brian who I lost on the 9th December last year. St Catherines took such good care of Brian during the short time he was ill and were so supportive to us during that very sad time, and after he died in December. The walk is 13.1 Miles and I'm training really hard.
St Catherines need to raise the equivalent of £5.48 every minute of this year to carry on the great work they already do. I would love to raise £1000.00 (about 3 hours ). With everyones help I know I can achieve this. Please help me raise my target, it would be great to raise £1000 (but fantastic if I raise more).
