HD is a hereditary disease which slowly destroys the ability to control and co-ordinate movement and thought. About 6,000 people in Scotland are symptomatic or at risk of developing the disease. SHA aims to significantly improve their quality of life through expert Advisory Services, specialist information and Family Support Groups.

My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am travelling to Capetown in South Africa in February to swim with crocodiles to raise money for Huntingtons Disease..!!! So far ive raised a total of £2,000 and that was my initial goal..!! so get sponsoring so i can up the total a bit more!!!

Erm about the the trip it was funded by myself as i going over there to do a 4x4 safari and also to do some volunteer work on a lion and tiger sanctuary!!! GRRRR!!! Yes its a very mad idea, swimming with crocodiles (think i should have just chosen to swim with dolphins in Cancun or sumthing less craZy!!! lol) Never mind crocs it is and yes i am shit scared, but hopefully it will raise a few ££ for HD, as i know all my mates would pay quite a few bucks to see me that terrified..!!! Well hopefully all goes well and i come home in one piece...!!! ha ha!!!
