Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Justin Morton (Mort’s).

11th April 1972 - 16th October 2007

Justin James Morton was the most amazing and caring person anyone could have met! Some even called him a "gentleman" and there are very few of those left in the world today! Justin would have won Gold for his ability to brighten everybody’s life that crossed his path!! Justin's aim in life was simple; live life to the full and every day for the moment. He was never one to make long term plans or commitments, just action what he wanted to achieve each day as it came. Even if he woke and his day involved hours of constant play on the X box, talking and competing with people all over the World he'd fulfil this. Justin believed in doing whatever made you feel happy and content.

Justin’s bravery was amazing, he never moaned about his condition once or how ill he felt. He was always more concerned about those around him and whenever asked the question, the answer would always be “yeah, I’m good". He never wanted the people closest to him to worry or be upset, especially myself and his mother Pam, who he adored.

Having been Justin's girlfriend for 2 years, I have never met such an unselfish, realistic, courageous and happy person in all my life. For that I, and many others honour his attitude towards his battle for life against cancer. He has made me and many of our friends realise that life is very precious and you have to live every moment of your life as if it's your last, love everybody who takes the time to love you back.

Justin's 35 years were given and in that time he touched so many people’s hearts and never had a bad word to say about anybody. Justin took everybody at face value, unless of course you asked him his true opinion and then he would truly speak his mind, saying if you don't want to know the truth don't ask!! He was an extremely respected character and everybody who met him loved him for his crazy hair and carefree attitude, not forgetting his overpowering and extremely loud laugh!! Not a day would pass when walking down the street somebody he knew would look up at his 6"4 frame and say hello!!! He really was famous in his own right and he deserved it through his fantastic outlook on life which affected and moved so many people. Justin will be so sadly and deeply missed by all the people that knew him.

“Justin you will never be forgotten and your memory will always live on. You were the greatest producer of happiness and you will never leave our memories or our hearts. We will always love you and your lively spirit will stay by our sides.”

Look after those Angels Mr Happy Man!!!! xxxx

With other donations we were able to give 3 Plasma DVD’s to Worcester Hospital’s Laurel 3 Unit, along with 2 Infusion Pumps for the Day Care Unit, where Justin spent much of his time having treatment, playing the nurses up and making them laugh! These were donated at the end of June 2008. Also we were able to give over £3,500 to St Richard’s Hospice.

Not stopping there we have raised £1,000 for St Gabriel's Church, £180 of this was donated by Justin's parents to renovate 1 of 6 bells in the belfry. A plaque has been placed inside the Church in memory of Justin.

Thank you all so much for the support you have given x

I lost the love of my life and my bestfriend, Pam and David lost their son, Richard and Alison their brother, Carol, Peter and Julie their nephew, Robin, Simon, Ian and Andrew their cousin and hundreds lost an amazing friend.

We all know that 1 in 3 people suffer from cancer and so many hearts are broken each year. Continue to make a difference so their lives can be as happy and comfortable as possible.

Through everyones thoughtfulness and generosity your giving is enabling us to do so much more for people in the same situation as Justin's. Thank you again.

Please carry on donating any spare pennies you have in your pot to give others the same fantastic care which Justin received at St Richards Hospice.

St Richard’s Hospice only receive 26% funding from the NHS each year so 74% they rely on comes from donations. Lets help in as many ways we can.

If you have any fund raising ideas or events which you would like to hold in memory of Justin, please contact me on: elayne028@yahoo.co.uk

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: St Richard's Hospice Foundation will receive your money electronically and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support and help for giving others the chance to be cared for as well as Justin was....

Much Love,

Elayne xxxx
