Ella, Steph and Hannah, will be running the Great North Run on the 20th September 2009... that’s a half marathon at 13.1miles, which is no easy task! Team leader Hannah is a bit of a pro having run the race twice in the past, but we’d like to stress that neither Ella nor Steph have done anything of this sort before. We are all running the race as a personal challenge however we feel it’s a great opportunity to raise money for a worthwhile cause. We will be flying the banner for Marie Curie Cancer Care!
Marie Curie Cancer Care has four focus areas: Nurses, Hospices, the Research Institute and Palliative Care Research. The charity reaches many individuals and supports whole families in their time of need.
We will be running in costume (standard) as the 3 musketeers.. moustaches and all. This is definitely worth an extra quid!
