In the Easter holidays I am hitching to Morocco to raise money for Link Community Development.

Link Community Development (LCD) works in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, South Africa and Uganda and gives children the chance to escape the poverty they were born into by improving the quality of education so that children and their communities have better opportunities.

Last year alone, 111 schools in Ghana received grants from LCD to help fund some of their most pressing needs - classrooms, books and even toilets. LCD Malawi was set up and 12 teachers undertook five week placements designed to help identify the core needs of schools in the region. In Uganda, LCD expanded its work and is now supporting schools in four new districts.
