<p>Elemense have formed a team of different shapes and sizes to take on a series of charitable events, colminating in a gruelling 10 mile run which will put many of the team to the test!</p> <p>The first event was the Arundel Bath Tub race. Alex, Nath, Malcom and Ed, all dressed as Batman, Robin, Joker and The Riddler&nbsp;and got aboard the "BAThMOBILE" for the gruelling 2 mile race. It took around 1hr and 20 mins.</p> <p>The tub which took a couple of weeks to build, with stood all the River Arun threw at her and made it back in pretty much 1 piece!</p> <p>Our next test will be the Great South Run in October. Many of the team having&nbsp;little to no experience of excercise or running (except to the bar) but have decided to do their bit for an important and valued local charity. We also have a guest runner in the form of Julia Groves from Matchtech Group Marketing Team who is also running for the great&nbsp;cause with us!</p> <p>The charity we have chosen is Friends of PICU which fundraises for Southampton Hospital's Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. This is&nbsp;a reqional centre for the South of England, with 10 bids for severely ill children from newborn to 17 years as well as providing accommodation for families. Friends of PICU helps to purchase essential life saving equipment to enable the centre to carry out their important work.
