Story
Yep, not the wisest decision... 42km / 26 miles with nowhere near enough training. But all for a good cause. I am running for Operation Christmas Child, which (for lack of better description) is a fully owned and operated charity of Samaritan's Purse -- presents for kids in the developing world at Christmas and the New York Marathon is thus very timely. I picked this charity as a close friend of mine is very active with it and have heard accounts first hand of what great work and real joy they bring to the children.http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.php/OCC/ Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please be generous and think of my suffering during those many hours. I have it on good authority that this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also apparently the most efficient way to sponsor me: Samaritan's Purse will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me. It will mean a lot.
