Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be climbing Mount Snowdon for The Autism Trust on 10th July - this happens to coincide with the end of our last official week of University so instead of doing the usual celebrations at the Pub I thought what better way to celebrate 3 years of hard work than to climb a mountain! The last time I climbed a mountain was 5 years ago just before I headed out to Australia for 2 years. At that time I had no idea which direction my life was going in, so for me it is pretty symbolic to be doing it again at the end of my Nursing course.
I'm going with a group of about 15 people (I only know one of them), we'll have a guide so hopefully all should go smoothly. We are all fundraising for different charities, and I have chosen The Autism Trust because it is a charity close to my heart as my cousin set it up after her son was diagnosed with Autism.
I appreciate that I've recently been fundraising for my Edinburgh Marathon efforts, but if I could raise some more money for this worthy cause it would be really fantastic.
I know that times are hard for a lot of us, but "every little helps" and a small donation is better than no donation, I promise it won't take long!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
