My Project
In January I am going over to Senegal in West Africa to live and work for 8 months. I will be going with the charity Project Trust and living in the capital, Dakar. My project primarily involves me teaching English in a Primary school as well as Music and Drama. Less than half the population of Senegal can read or write so there’s a huge need for help to improve learning for the less fortunate children who wouldn’t usually have access to a good education.
However before I go I have to raise £4060 to allow me to live and fund the project I will be participating in for 8 months. I will be organising lots of fundraising events to raise this amount such as Ceilidhs and other fun stuff which I hope I will see you all at!
