Mum was affected by PSP for at least six years but sadly was not diagnosed until July 08, just six months before she passed away.  It takes an average of 5 years to diagnose PSP because many health professionals have never heard of it and like many others, Mum was initially diagnosed with Parkinsonism.

The PSP Association are the only charity in Europe working to raise awareness of PSP and, to find a cure to this devastating disease. The disease and the Charity are little known or understood and so our aim is to both raise awareness of the disease and to support this worthwhile charity. Their support was invaluable to us!
