Story

Thank you for visiting my fund-raising page.

The Flora London Marathon 2009 will be my third London Marathon and this will be my toughest challenge yet. On Sunday 26 April, I will be wearing the official BHF Heart Runners vest and running this challenging course hoping to raise a whopping £3000 which will be vital funds for the British Heart Foundation.

I suffered a brain haemorrhage nearly 5 years ago and I am so fortunate to have made a full recovery. Part of my recovery was due to the fact that I was a fairly fit and healthy person this is why I believe I have made a full recovery... Last year I completed the run in 1 hour quicker than I did in 2007 but this year, I have set myself the biggest challenge by hoping to achieve a personal best time. By trying to achieve this, I have dedicated all of my spare time in training for this event...

The British Heart Foundation is the nation's heart charity, dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care and campaigning for change. By making a donation through this site you are helping to ensure that this charity can continue its vital work.

Many thanks for your support.
