I'm going to run the Manchester 10km run in May for the Leukaemia Research charity in memory of my friend Katie Hoppe who passed away last year.

I only started running about 10months ago, and that was mainly for buses and to get last orders in at the bar, so doing this run in a good time (and in a bright yellow t-shirt, as part of the fantastic Banana Army - I'm not sure what Banana Man has to say about this) would be great! UNFORTUNATELY!! I tore some liagments in my ankle playing netball in March (ow!) so it turns out I may have to walk the 10km! My GP has said I probably shouldn't do it, but I'm a stubborn bastard ;) But if I am being sensible, I will have to employ my fabulous sister Morag to run in my place. TWO GUNSONS TACKLE 10KM! Anything you can spare makes a huge difference.
