Having said that the 2009 London Marathon would be my one and only attempt at the distance, I'm back again!  I want to have another go to see if I can improve my time, and to do the marathon in the Olympic year will be a fantastic memory.

I've chosen to support Beaumond House as it's a local charity that a lot of people have had experience of - whether it's seeing volunteers bag packing in supermarkets, taking part in fundraising events themselves, or having friends and family looked after by the charity.  It needs a heck of a lot of money per year to keep providing its fabulous service so please give whatever you can afford.
