This, (I keep telling myself on those snowy training sessions) will be my third and final Marathon.  By the time I reach the finish line I’ll have finally run the one I’ve always wanted to finish – the London Marathon.  And for me, there's nothing like the sense of achievement you get on completing such a physical challenge for such a great charity.

I was introduced to The Lord's Taverners a few years ago when I met my husband Alan.  The work they do impressed me so much that recently I joined The Lady's Taverners, and theirs is a dream I share.  By introducing young people with special needs to a world outside their norm, whether through sports or other activities, the door is open for them to genuinely improve their lives.  It’s a great dream, and one I hope you’ll help us realise...
