<p>As many of you know I am extremely close to my Grandad and finding out he had Parkinson's and having to see how hard it is for him and my family living with Parkinson's, is extremely difficult. Without the work of Parkinson's UK it would be so much worse for him and my family. <p>I have decided to run the 2012 Lichfield Half-Marathon as a challenge to myself. Having completed one before, my aim is to beat my time of 2 hours 14 minutes. I'm not much of a runner so training has started in earnest - and now it's not only time for me to work hard, but ask you wonderful lot to donate as much as you can afford to support me and Parkinson's UK. </p>
