Hello everyone!
Firstly thank you to all those who have donated so far. Our wedding was an amazing event and your gifts very generous. But as you can see the site is still open and we are still wanting to raise more money!
It will be my (els) 30th birthday on the 19th January, and for all those people asking me what I would like, well a donation towards our project would be very much appreciated!
Thanks again to everyone, we will hopefully be updating this site with more info soon.

The library will be painted in bright colours with murals on the walls to stimulate the children and encourage them to visit the library and read.

As many of you know we spent some time in Cambodia during our Round the World trip and were deeply touched by the people we met. We spent a little time visiting a school there with our Intrepid tour group and delivered papers and pens, spent time with the kids and walked away feeling highly emotional!
When Bryan proposed and we started talking wedding plans, we both agreed instantly that we didn’t need another toaster, but these kids needed books and pens, facilities and teachers, all of which cost money.
So we decided to donate our Wedding list to Schools for children of Cambodia .
The school that we visited near Siem reap has been adopted by this charity and we were lucky to meet Safy (see their website) whilst we were there and were privileged to have had dinner at his home.
So instead of buying us another toaster or set of crystal glasses we would only break from Ellen being so clumsy, please dig deep into your pockets! Nothing would please us more than knowing that you have helped us make a difference, no matter how small or big to the wonderful kids of Cambodia

Beaucoup d’entre vous le savent déjà, quand nous avons fait notre Tour du Monde, nous avons passé du temps au Cambodge et avons été très ému par les gens que nous avons rencontrés.
Lors de notre visite nous avons pu visiter une école près de Siem reap, avec notre group nous avons livrer des papiers et crayons aux enfants qui ont soif d’une éducation mais sans les moyens pour financer les besoins de base, tel du papier, des crayons, des livres ou même des professeurs.
Quand nous nous sommes fiancés, nous nous sommes mis immédiatement d’accord , nous allions faire don de notre « liste de mariage » aux enfants du Cambodge.
La charité « schools for children of cambodia » a adopté 4 écoles au Cambodge, dont celle que nous avons visité, alors nous l’avons choisi comme « cadeau de mariage » ! Rien ne nous fera plus plaisir que de savoir que grâce a vous nous avons pu aider ces enfants incroyables!
Alors au lieu de nous acheter un grille pain ou des verres que je ne manquerais pas de casser connaissant ma maladresse nous vous demandons de faire un don sur ce site.

Le projet consiste a mettre en place une bibliothèque pour les 450 enfants à l'école Sway Dong Kum School , Siem Reap. Avec l'argent de vos cadeaux/dons SCC (Schools for Children of Cambodia) va remettre en état une des salles de l'école, la repeindre avec de belle couleurs et avec des images sur les murs pour stimuler et encourager les enfants à venir a la bibliothèque, apprendre à lire et utiliser des ordinateurs.

Avec le restant de l'argent nous souhaitons acheter des ordinateurs et des logiciels, et rajouter autant d'années que possible au salaire de la bibliothécaire!
