I'm running the Great Capital Run - I recently changed this event from the Great North Run due to unforseen circumstances but this run is 10k for the Pilgrims Hospice in Kent where I lost 2 close friends of mine, John Parker and Liz Addisson.
The hospice isn't supported by government funding they rely totally on donations from the public. They nurse terminally ill patients throughout their last days and really make a difference to patients and their families.
