I will go straight in to tell those of you that do not know why i have chosen to run for this particular charity.

5 years ago my mum was diagnosed with a Brain tumor, at the time is was benign and too small to operate on. Recently mum was having more seizures, the worst, resulting in being diagnosed with a Grade 3 malignant tumor.

Without going into too much detail, i researched how much money raised for cancer actually goes towards funding/ supporting patients with brain tumors. I was astonished to find that less than 1% does and given that it is one of the biggest killers I decided i would do my bit to help.

This 10k will be my first run for charity and I have been working so hard to train for this event, please spare as little as you can to sponsor me, to help me, help others like my mum!
