We help people with spinal cord injury to transform their lives

Story

Welcome and thank you so much for visiting our page!
3 legal professionals + 13 miles on 28th October 2012!!
We're embarking on 13 miles of running in support of a great charity - Back Up Trust. This is a charity close to our hearts and is our firms nominated charity for 2012.
We'd love as many of you as possible to come down and support us on the day itself so please come on down if you can. There are live artists performing along the route and we have no doubt that the atmosphere on the day will be amazing!
We will keep you updated as our training progresses.
To put things in perspective here are some important points to note about Back Up and spinal injuries:
· Spinal cord injury is permanent. It can happen to anyone through accident or illness and is as easy as falling down the stairs.
• Back Up has helped thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds, and their families, to rebuild their lives following a spinal cord injury.
• They provide wheelchair skills training, mentoring and rehabilitative activity courses. They also support people to overcome the challenges of returning to work or school.
• Back Up is the only charity in the UK that provides dedicated services for children and young people with a spinal cord injury.
• Every year around 1,000 people sustain a spinal cord injury. It is estimated that there are around 40,000 people living with spinal cord injury in the UK. There is no cure.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you!
Love Alice, Jenny and Emel xxx
