About the charity : The Mad ( Mottey African Development) Foundation The Mad ( Mottey African Development) Foundation
The Mad (Mottey African Development) Foundation helps people in some of the world's poorest countries to help themselves, by working at a grassroots level to develop much needed sustainable community resources. Their objective is to advance education and alleviate poverty in any part of the world. They have helped build and renovate over 20 schools, built orphanages, clinics, workshops, water and sanitation systems throughout Africa, South America, and South East Asia. Please note, money raised for the Mad Foundation can be used at the discretion of the Mad Foundation trustees who will always ensure that Mad Foundation funds are used on appropriate projects with the most immediate need. Therefore, please avoid saying to your sponsors that the money will go to something specific as we cannot guarantee this unless agreed in writing with the Mad Foundation trustees.

Thank you so much for visiting my page.

Please please please take this opportunity to help a child who so desperately wants to go to school. After witnessing the shooting of his father at four years old, Daniel and his mother found themselves homeless and left with nothing. His mother can no longer afford for him to go to school and at the moment his future seems hopeless. In Kenya, there are no state-run secondary schools, and without further education, the likelihood of Daniel earning more than one dollar a day is very slim.

Please give whatever you can, because between us, it will be possible to send Daniel to school. If we raise £1000, we can pay for Daniel's secondary education for four years, as well as his books, an eye test and school uniform.

Whilst doing a teaching placement in his primary school in Kenya, I met Daniel and was astounded by his determination. He is an amazing child, so full of enthusiasm and personality. Please give him the chance to go to school. Thank you for your generosity.
