Without considering my current fitness levels, I've signed up to join 29 other Monzo staff and 5 community members to complete the full Tough Mudder challenge for our charity partner Turn2us.

What is Tough Mudder?

Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile mud obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina and mental grit! 

I haven’t done any intensive exercise for a very very long time & the thought of getting electric shocked doesn't fill me with delight, but here we go… 

Who are Turn2us?

Turn2us is a UK charity that helps people with financial trouble to gain access to welfare benefits, charitable grants and support services 💪 💪 💪 https://www.turn2us.org.uk/

My particular interest with this charity is their work for children in poverty. In some areas of the country, over 50% of children live in poverty. Turn2us has joined the End Child Poverty coalition – a body of more than 100 organisations including charities, child welfare organisations, faith groups and others united in a vision of a UK free of child poverty.
